Ideas for Action: Gather's on the shortlist
I arrived back from two weeks’ leave to some exciting news: Gather has been shortlisted for the 2017 Ideas for Action Competition!
Ideas for Action is run by the World Bank, and is open to groups of young people aged under 35 who are running projects that are shaping the financing and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Gather is working on Goal 6.2:
By 2030, achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all and end open defecation, paying special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations.
We are down to the final 60, out of nearly 750 applications! A panel from the World Bank, Wharton Business School and business experts are now whittling the final 60 down to select 10 finalists.
